Working It: Jody Rushton Elected President of National Federation of Republican Women

Over the weekend the National Federation of Republican Women held its 39th Biennial Convention in Philadelphia. At the meeting delegates elected Jody Rushton of Plano as its new President.

Rushton has been a force in Texas Republican politics since serving as the Western States Coordinator for the Reagan-Bush campaign in 1984. Rushton is the immediate Past-President of the Texas Federation of Republican Women.

In addition to Rushton's election, the TFRW also received awards for outstanding overall public relations as well an award for clocking more than 2 million campaign volunteer hours.
